I’m pleased to announce that my new novel, The Stars Are Fire, will be released in 2026. Picking up where The Lincoln Moon left off, it follows the steps of the Armstrong family, resuming their lives after a tragedy including a secret role of “station masters” along the Underground Railroad.

As the country stumbles toward Civil War, the Armstrongs resume their farm life, along with the covert work of the Underground Railroad which unexpectedly leads them back to Abe Lincoln. In a nation tearing itself over slavery, the stars give direction.
