My Reading List

Other than writing, I can think of no better escape from the noise of life than a good read! I mainly prefer fiction, though I am frequently interested in of non-fiction. Whatever the genre, I love to savor the author’s “voice” as he tells his story. (Which I guess explains why I’m writing in first personal narrative these days!.) My current reads are “Tyrant: Shakespeare on Politics” by Stephen Greenblatt. I’m also enjoying my friend Fannie Flagg’s new book, “Something to Look Forward To,” her first book of short stories, and my book group is about to begin Fredrik Backman’s “My Friends.” Below are some other books I’ve enjoyed over the years. Let me know what books you’ve liked, too! I’m at mpnwrites@icloud.com. Happy reading. Mike
